Silvano Martinez struggles to eat a meal after a two day bender, hands shaking so badly, the food barely makes it to his mouth at the Rockland Interfaith Breakfast Program of Spring Valley on Oct. 8, 2015. Martinez is one of the homeless men that get services from the Helping Hands Interfaith Coalition for the Homeless of Rockland in Spring Valley. Martinez, originally from Guatemala, has been living in Spring Valley for the last 4 years and is battling with alcoholism which affects him getting the support he needs to get off of the streets.
